The Marketing Mismatch, Checked
Several independent customer reviews of SugarSix describe promotional infomercials that named ingredients not found in the bottle they actually received.
Here's exactly what buyers reported, what the actual label says, and how to protect yourself.
What buyers reported
Independent, third-party review coverage documents multiple one-star complaints specifically about this issue. One reviewer described a promotional infomercial discussing cinnamon, apple cider vinegar (ACV), and eventually Moso bamboo shoots containing ferulic acid as the product's key ingredient. Another reviewer separately described an infomercial mentioning African mango extract, grape seed extract and green tea extract as core ingredients. Both reviewers reported that none of these ingredients matched what was actually printed on the bottle they received.
What the actual label says
The Supplement Facts panel we reviewed for SugarSix lists five ingredients: Gotu Kola Extract, Chinese Hawthorn Extract, Horse Chestnut Extract, Butcher's Broom Extract and Motherwort Extract. None of the ingredients mentioned in the buyer complaints above — cinnamon, ACV, Moso bamboo, ferulic acid, African mango, grape seed, or green tea — appear on this list.
Why this kind of mismatch can happen
Products sold through affiliate marketing networks and infomercial-style advertising sometimes use promotional content that references a different formula version, a competitor's product, or outdated copy. We cannot determine from the outside which explanation applies here, or whether the formula has changed over time. What we can confirm is that the pattern of complaints is real and specific enough to take seriously.
How this affects our overall assessment
We can only responsibly describe and evaluate the ingredients that actually appear on the label: Gotu Kola, Chinese Hawthorn, Horse Chestnut, Butcher's Broom and Motherwort. We are not able to verify or evaluate ingredients some buyers report seeing in advertising, since we could not confirm those claims ourselves.
